Priority Toggle

Click the ★ on any release card or list row to mark it priority. Toggling writes to the Live Releases sheet (Priority column) and updates the priority strip at the top of the Releases page. Click again to remove.

Priority is for releases that need extra eyes — coordinated drop with a feature, time-sensitive marketing push, etc. Doesn't change the workflow; just makes the release more visible to whoever opens admin.

If a release doesn't have a Live Releases row yet (e.g., added to Vydia Queue manually, or Make.com Module 12 missed it), the toggle auto-creates one on first click — pre-filling artist, title, release date, type, label, and primary genre. You'll see a toast confirming "Created Live Releases row for [title]". Bio, listen link, and mood stay blank until you fill them in.

Presets

Presets are the default credits, label, genres, and Spotify URL that pre-fill into an artist's portal when they start a new release. Saves them typing the same info every time.

Adding a preset: Go to Presets tab → pick artist → click the type you want (Performer / Producer / Writer / Release defaults) → fill in the form → Save. Active by default.

Editing: Click any row in the Presets table. Form drops in below the row. Save updates the sheet and stamps your name + timestamp.

Removing: Click the trash icon on a row. The row is removed from the sheet permanently. To soft-deactivate without removing (e.g., for an old writer you might want to bring back later), uncheck Active in the edit form instead — the row stays but won't pre-fill artist portals. Toggle "Show inactive" to see those rows; click Restore to flip Active back on.

Force Refresh: Portals cache presets for 1 hour. If you change a preset and need it live immediately (e.g., artist is about to submit), click Force Refresh — it bumps the cache key so every portal re-fetches on next load.

Releases — Edit in Place

Most fields on the release modal are editable inline. Click → edit → click outside or hit Tab to save. A check appears for ~2 seconds confirming the write. If it fails, the cell turns red.

Vydia Queue fields (ISRC, UPC, lyrics, splits, etc.) and Live Releases fields (Listen Link, Label, Bio, Mood, Type) are both editable. The "broadcast" arrows next to certain fields apply that value to all tracks in the release.

Force Refresh — When To Use It

Three situations:

1. You just updated a preset and the artist is about to submit a release — Force Refresh so they see the new defaults.

2. Artist tells you their portal is showing old/wrong info — Force Refresh.

3. After bulk changes (multiple presets edited at once) — Force Refresh once when done.

Otherwise the 1-hour TTL handles it automatically. Force Refresh only affects the next portal load — already-loaded portals keep their cached data.

Sheet Access

Live Releases, Vydia Queue, and Presets all live in the same Release Board file. Most edits should happen through this admin UI — direct sheet edits work but skip validation (e.g., Spotify URL format, split percentages).

The Presets tab is protected — only Derek and Doc can edit directly. Tara, Jayden, TJ have view access. If you need to add a row and don't have edit access, use this admin UI.
